Does it get any more exciting than BOMBERMAN? It does if you have a GBA; the long-running franchise gets its best treatment yet, as two new BOMBERMAN installments (Red Advance and the simultaneously released Blue Advance) hit the handheld console. In this sequel to the fan-favorite BOMBERMAN ADVANCE, you'll play as Max, and your goal will be to destroy the nefarious Hige Hige bandits who have shrunk you and BOMBERMAN down to the size of peas. In order to reverse the work of the evil gang's so-called "Mini Mini" device, you'll have to solve all sorts of puzzles, drop your patented bombs, and traverse 80 huge arenas of enemies and challenges. You'll also have the opportunity to collect and breed vicious Charabom creatures, using them in battle scenarios. What's more, there are 20 hidden levels that can be unlocked by linking the Red Advance and Blue Advance versions together, and as many as four players can hop into the action with the use of link cables.
